Significant Increase In Copper Creek Exploration Lands

VANCOUVER, BC - Redhawk Resources, Inc. reported that its wholly owned subsidiary Redhawk Copper, Inc. has acquired significant additional exploration properties totaling approximately 21 square miles contiguous to the existing approximately 7 square miles comprising the advanced stage Copper Creek copper molybdenum project. A total of 5,960 acres were acquired through new ASLD Mineral Exploration Permits and a further 7,400 acres were acquired through the staking of 371 BLM claims. All of the new areas are to the north and northwest of the existing Copper Creek claims in areas along the known southeast to northwest trend of mineralization.

R. Joe Sandberg, President and CEO of Redhawk stated: "We have proven that the porphyry system at Copper Creek is substantially larger than originally projected and to date we have not defined the boundaries of the system. The extensive work we have conducted in the region has provided us with regional geological insights that encouraged the acquisition of additional interests on the same trend as our existing land package which now provides Redhawk with the largest land position in the district. Major companies have directly or indirectly become involved in the region and this significant increase in contiguous land areas with excellent exploration potential will ensure Redhawk will maintain control of the dominant land position in the Copper Creek mining district. We will evaluate the mineral potential in this favorable trend utilizing the same approach to exploration that has proven successful for us at Copper Creek."

The 100% owned Copper Creek property consists of approximately twenty-eight square miles of contiguous patented and unpatented mining claims, state prospecting permits, and ASLD Mineral Exploration Permits located about 70 miles northeast of Tucson, Arizona and about 15 miles east of San Manuel. The property is in the prolific southwest US porphyry copper belt at the projected intersection of a major northwest belt of porphyry copper deposits or mines (Ray, Miami/Globe, Superior/Resolution, Johnson Camp) and a major east-northeast belt of porphyry deposits (San Manuel/Kalamazoo, Silver Bell, Lakeshore, Safford, Morenci). The company's address is 2300 - 1066 West Hastings Street, Vancouver, BC V6E 3X2, 604.633.5088, fax: 604.633.5098, email: [email protected].
