HudBay Updates Drill Results for Lalor Lake

WINNIPEG, MB - HudBay Minerals Inc. reported drill results from additional holes at its Lalor Lake zinc exploration project near Snow Lake, Manitoba in the Flin Flon Greenstone Belt. The results indicate encouraging copper and precious metals content and also continue to support the deposit's previously announced conceptual estimate of a potential of 18 - 20 million tonnes of 7.7% to 8.8% zinc.

We are also encouraged that certain of the drill hole results have some higher grades of copper and mineralization similar to what was mined previously at our copper and gold rich Photo Lake Mine." The Photo Lake Mine which is approximately three kilometres from Lalor Lake, operated from 1994 to 1998.
