Drilling At Gran Pilar Gold-Silver Project Continues Expansion Zone Drilling
CALGARY - Tocvan Ventures Corp. has restarted at the Gran Pilar Gold Silver Project in mine-friendly Sonora, Mexico. Drilling will focus on the controlled expansion area where recent scout drilling returned significant mineralization highlighted by 3.1 meters of 19.4 g/t Au within 106.6 meters of 0.6 g/t Au, just six meters from surface (12.2 meters downhole). Drilling recently started and over 100 meters are completed already in the first drill hole. Results are pending for three core holes.
"We are excited to be back drilling the expansion zone where recent results returned high-grade gold at surface." commented, CEO Brodie Sutherland. "Following up on our success, testing the northern edge of known mineralization with drilling will provide us with further insight on the resource potential. There remains a large untested area to the north and east where we will continue to push expansion. In addition, the northern alteration zone five kilometers away, remains open for exploration where a separate mineralized system has the potential to add further discovery upside. We look forward to updating our shareholders with continued drill results and advancements in permitting for production."
