Drilling Operations At The Excelsior Springs Gold Project

VACAVILLE, CA - Athena Gold Corporation reported that field operations have commenced for the previously announced 5,000+ foot reverse circulation (RC) drill program at its Excelsior Springs project in Esmeralda County, Nevada. The 2022 Drill Program is expected to consist of RC drill holes on both the patented and unpatented mining claims comprising the Project.

The 2022 Drill Program is designed to expand known mineralization at the Excelsior Springs Project and further substantiate that the Project is a regional-scale, intrusion-related, gold-bearing, hydrothermal system.
