The Western Mining Directory lists mining companies, mines and projects and properties. The Mining Company section contains telephone numbers, websites and addresses for corporate, regional, exploration and mine offices, all principle officers, and states if the company is privately or publicly held. Mine information includes names of managers, its location, and whether it is open pit or underground, its type of recovery, product, operator, reserves, grade, mining rate, and number of employees. Mining companies and mines are also listed alphabetically and geo- graphically. The Directory further contains information on Suppliers to the Industry. Flash-Thumb Drive. 

The Western States Mines Map edition shows locations of gold, silver, platinum, copper, molybdenum and coal mines in the eleven western United States. For each mine, the Map lists the state and county, its reserve, grade, mine operator and whether it is underground or open pit. The Map is poster size and is printed in contrasting colors on enamel stock for increased legibility showing states, capitols and major highways
